Wow that oil is super expensive and in US dollars. I can get Amsoil here in Canada for half that price.

Here is a new fresh review about engine oils in 2020, compared and grouped by types of the oil. And some Honda motor oil has included by the author as the best motorcycle oil.

this is the best answer,

as long as its name brand approved oil, its fine,

people worry way too much about oil,

your chances of having an oil related failure is next to zero
Agree!

I see comments that "Amsoil stays clean longer". Amsoil is good, but you want the oil to get dirty that means it's catching and holding combustion contaminants in suspension rather than allowing those byproducts to adhere to engine surfaces.

No such thing as “best” for everyone. Different situations and conditions require different priorities.

i personally run Valvoline Modern Engine 5w30. Why? It is Dexos 1 Gen 2 and has a kinematic visc and HTHS spec just barely thick enough to be considered a 30 grade. Globally, Honda recommends a 0w20 or 5w30 in these engines... and I feel a thin 30 grade oil like VME 5w30 splits the difference nicely, and gives me a little more peace of mind in hot california summer months.

My dealer wants me running 0w or 5w40 since I track mine. I chose Castrol Magnatec 5w40 ACEA C3.

An interesting website. I found this "Affiliate Disclosure statement" at the bottom of the Home page.

The best oil is the one that is regularly changed at the manufacturers suggested intervals. No need to overthink it beyond that.
Amsoil's Response:
Honda Civic 10th gen Best Oil and Why ?! 1593615671429

From Amsoil Site:
"The people who pay a couple bucks extra per quart are the people who love their vehicles. For them, their car or truck isn’t just an appliance that conveys them to work and back. It’s their identity. It’s part of their personality. They’ve probably given it a pet name normally reserved for a significant other. And they want to protect it – lavish it with the best of the best to ensure it responds with top-notch performance for years.

Those are our people, and AMSOIL is their oil.

Why? Because we pay attention to every last detail, no matter how seemingly trivial. It’s not just wear protection, either. We formulate our synthetic lubricants to combat intense heat, fight deposits and last longer than other oils, delivering more value. That razor-sharp focus has led to what we think stands alone as simply the best motor oil on the market"

LOL Amsoil. Any company that feels the need to try and guilt me into buying their crap doesn't get my money.

Pennzoil UP or Mobile 1 EP synthetics......solely because it goes on sale for half price at Canadian tire seemingly every other week.

Participation in referral programs isn't new. The website possibly obtain commissions for its further progress, recommending products and helping them choose. Are you really surprised? There is no cheating here...
