Seems to be fading a bit by the lower back area, I guess from friction from my lower back. Anybody else have fading? And how can I remedy this, take it to dealership?

Try cleaning it first, it looks like it is sweat residue. That is a very odd spot to see fading, especially so soon. If properly cleaning it doesn't resolve it, then definitely take it to dealer. But they will blame it on being dirty first I can pretty much guarantee that by the looks.

looks like sweat residue to me ... change your deoderant and use a hot wet cloth to clean your seat!

I have wiped it down before but it just keeps coming back.

I had a white area on my left bolster and it turned into a rip/tear. Gonna have to see what they can do for me.

Just used a mild body soap and wet cloth to scrub it down. I'll wait for it to dry and see what happens.

In the past I've used a baking soda/water solution to penetrate the fibers for 30 min, then follow with a vinegar/water solution with a touch of fabric or dish detergent. It's time consuming but has worked well for me. Though I haven't yet tested for staining on the Civic's fabrics.

My interior gets white spots all over. Usually a vacuum with the bristle brush does it and or a wet micro fiber towel. My door arm rest on both sides have considerably faded and I park in the garage at home and use a sun shade when at work. Si interior has always kinda sucked but this generation is hugely disappointing to me.

Seems dirty. Clean it.

Looks like sweat residue. Turn on you AC more frequently? :stirthepot:

No, but seriously I use a damp cloth once a week to wipe down my interior. I’m at 7k since November and my interior not only looks new, but I still have new car smell as well

I use a cotton suede-like seat cover on mine. Looks and feels miles better than original seat upholstery. No more staining or wear issues, and seat surface will always remain new
