It’s awesome. Since a whole exhaust will cost too much i went for this till I can afford to get an exhaust. It sounds louder and Draper than my friend’s civic hatchback sport(carbon fiber hood hatch) now . Next is ktuner in the next month or two.

Good luck on your delete. I did it recently and after 1 day put the mufflers back on. The drone from 1800 to 2200 rpm was way to much for me. Just my experience and finding.

I don’t mind the drone. I just test my si and my friend’s hatchback sport (modded exhaust). He admitted that mine sounded better. I recorded it but, the iPhone and galaxy mics just doesn’t do it justice. It makes it sound as if there was just an increase in volume and not deepness.

The dreaded 1800 - 2200 RPM drone is the only thing stopping me from doing a muffler delete. I can only imagine the folks who did a resonator and muffler delete. I guess you can just avoid cruising at that range though.

The muffler delete made my Si much more enjoyable to drive because you can actually hear the engine. I will say, there is drone at 1800-2200 RPM that took getting some getting used too. It changed the way that I shift when I have passengers in the car, I end up shifting at higher RPM's so that the next gear is above 2200 RPM after the shift. It doesn't bother me anymore but it is something to consider if you are considering doing the muffler delete. It is definitely good enough for me until 27Won releases their exhaust system for the coupe.

Outside of the drone, exhaust just sounds overall better. It is louder and deeper, but doesn't sound like a rice rocket. It's a respectable noise level, just don't lay on it when you're driving past police.

I'd imagine that deleting the resonator along with the mufflers would be too loud / too much drone for enjoyment, but that's just my opinion.

We did the muffler delete on my sons 19 EX and it felt like it caused a slight loss of power upon acceleration. Did anyone experience that when you did your delete? By the way, it sounds great! Not to loud but more deeper. I was very surprised that it wasn’t louder! Thanks

When I did my muffler delete I did get the same drone, once I put the prl front pipe and downpipe, the drone actually reduced in the initial rpm range

Gillette's now makes a shaving foam for those with sensitive skin, might want to get a couple of cans ----- can't hurt.
The younger generation... I guess their parents are not teaching them the same thing ours did. Patience has been lost in this need it now, me first world....
