Looking for clarification on wheel fitment (rubbing/ clearance)

Wheels: Ray Grams 57dr 18x9.5 +38

Lowering springs: Eibach Prokits

- I want to use Michelin PS4S 265/35 tires. Anyone currently or know someone that has this setup on their FK8?
- Do I need camber arms?

All feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thank You

You will probably rub, though fairly lightly from what I've read. Reports are mixed with that offset and a 265/35, but the general consensus is that +38 needs either 255, a narrower 265 (like a firehawk 500), or camber to avoid rubbing without modifying your fenders.

I'll be lowered on Spoons with the same wheels and 265/35 Firehawks on Monday so I'll find out for myself soon enough.

ah yeah, seems like the general rule is to stick with 45 offset for that tire size. Hopefully you don't rub Ouhei

Maybe 255/40 michelin PS4S would fit better?

From what I've seen with the Firehawks is most people either don't rub or have a super light rub on the plastic. Hoping I get lucky. I had a ton of mulch in the hatch area last weekend that dropped the rear down to nearly what it is with the spoon springs and I didn't have any issues so I'm hopeful.

255/40 can be harder to fit than 265/35 because of the extra height, it's a less common size so I haven't seen many examples though.

I’m on eibach sportline which is lower than prokit with 18x9.5 +42 on 265 35 18 falken Azenis no rubbing , you might get a slight rub on +38 but a friend of mine had that offset and 265 tire and he only rubbed on bumps when two adults sat in the back.

Did you need any camber arms on the rear to clear this wheel / tire combo? I am waiting on my +42 CE28N in Bronze from ICB and will be running Sportlines as well. Thanks.
