Thanks for the detailed reply, without pinning you down to exact numbers what kind of improvment could I expect a decent aftermarket IC to deliver based on the same useage?Your “flat” throttle response is simply due to the IAT2 temp entering your throttle body. HOT air is not efficient in combustion; so, your ECU is retarding timing to save your motor. Being on the stock IC and in a constant state of boost, your turbo is generating a great deal of heat that your IC cannot keep up with. This is especially noticeable when you come off throttle and the negative vacuum creates stagnation and the IC core absorbs heat.
Turbo wraps are not going to save you there. An upgraded IC will keep you cooler and recover faster when getting back on boost.
