That's around 43 MPG in freedom units!I've hit as low as 5.4L/100km on Highway cruising with easy throttle, even with my 21 PSI tune. That was 93 octane gas IIRC.
My long term average is around 5.9-6.1L/100km on my summer tires.
That's interesting - I wonder if that's because it doesn't count fuel consumed while idling? AFAIK, the computer only records your consumption while you're moving.Onboard computer constantly shows about 0.3 to 0.4 l/100km less than the actual fuel consumpions really is.
From the Home screen, go to Info. There are two tabs, one for your current drive and the second for a history of all Trip A - my photo was from the second tab.Does the 2019 civic si have the same screen as the OP has? I’ve never seen that screen yet, only the one below the speed like some of the other pictures show.
Which Honda model gets a 455-mile range?
Hey all,
Curious to see how everyone's experience with their fuel economy has been since I have been doing much better than the numbers Honda has published. I did a quick search and couldn't find anything similar to this post.
I have a 2019 Civic Hatchback LX with the 1.5l turbo motor with a 6 speed manual. According to Honda, it should get 8.0/6.2/7.2 L/100KM (City/Hwy/Comb) - works out to 29/38/33 MPG for my American friends.
My last two tanks of fuel had averages of 5.9 & 6.3 L/100KM (40/37 MPG) - and on my last highway trip after refueling I was getting 4.7 (50 MPG) !!
To be fair, I am babying it a lot. I like to see what my "high score" will be, but I was not expecting to be getting such good economy numbers.
Photo for proof! Ignore the bottom number, I suppose that was from transport.
