I recently just installed a lowering springs and i accidentally overextended the inner cv joint. it was hard but it eventually went back in the correct slot i think. Now, when shifting gears, i would hear two clunks, when i clutch in and when i clutch out. What do you guys think went wrong? Suspension guys please help me?

Double checking that your end links are torqued down properly is the only thing that comes to mind for me.

i havent figured it out. im hoping its just the axle . I went down the car and tried to see any play in the axle seems like its tight it seems like it is coming from inside the case(im hoping i could be wrong)Ive researched all over the internet and havent pin point exactly.

To me it's probably normal.
I had 2012 9th gen civic si with 12 000miles on it and I heard the same clunking sound.

I had the same sound/play on my 02rsx-s as well but on my civic right now, I didnt have the clunk before I installed the lowering springs.

Its pretty normal to hear this I've always heard this annoying clunk. I'm sure with minor bushings & short shifter this can go away.
