I used to do weight training and cardio, but now I mainly walk 6.5 miles or more daily. How do you keep in shape? By the way the walking is doing pretty good for me, it’s not just a walk in the park for me, it’s fairly brisk. I’d like to run but my knees are not liking that.

Working my way back into more rapid walking.
I’ve been on the sidelines for the better part of a year recovering from bilateral PE... blood clots in the lungs.
I take enough rat poison daily to kill an average size dog.
It was dicey for a few months after and I’ve still got shit for endurance.
Pressing on though.

The same with me. I prefer to change a haircut as a variant and choose something like that Pick The Taper Fade Haircut Then start running and feel as if I am quite an opposite man that can change everything. It helps a lot to feel myself full of energy.

I play table tennis 3 or 4 nights a week for 4 or 5 hours at our local club. Not the stand in one place and swing or beer pong games. We play more like the Olympic sport style where quick movements and strong strokes are necessary. It's great for keeping you sharp mentally as well.

I'm 60. 5 ft 11 inch. 187 lbs. I work in the swimming pool business. Since 2nd week in April, I've worked 60-65 hrs a week. I end up walking 2-2.5 miles a day. Dont think many 60 yr olds could keep up with me.
The secret to longevity, dont be idle.

Been riding and racing bicycles (road/cyclocross) for 33 yrs. Cat 1 for those in the know. Gave up racing 3 yrs ago but still do 300+ mi/wks regularly. Just bought a new road bike so motivation is high right now.

I have a morning routine of cardio and weight training typically M-F out of bed by 630 and in my gym after 15 minutes of stretching.

Exercice, sport, good food...and not too much alcohol, that's the secret of good shape, good appearance, longevity...and
above all, a clear and healthy mind.
You can be 80 years old but look 65 physically and also stay toung in your head.
This is advice I gave to my students when I was teaching physics at college.
