Okay, this is weird as hell.

I changed my oil yesterday. Afterwards, I went for a drive and noticed that if I did anything to make my traction control/vsa kick in (spin the tires too hard on a take off, or take a corner hard) I start getting repeating errors on my screen.

No codes or anything, just these keep repeating. If I turn the car off and back on again, they go away and everything is back to normal.

WTF?

Man... I did a long-ass battery-unlugged-reset-things cycle twice, same issue. Even the second time I actually got a message on the radio that it had to recalibrate the GPS and such. Do you think perhaps just the battery (AFTER A FREAKING YEAR) is so bad that it just doesn't run right?

Also, if this helps... only appears to happen on a hard-ass turn, otherwise I'm good.

I have heard the stock battery is weaksauce. I just replaced mine a month ago as it was down to 60% of it's rated capacity and I had experienced some slow starts over the winter. I keep a 3 way 12v outlet multiplier in the car and it has status lights which show green, yellow, red. I have had it for over a decade and in all cars I have noticed it rarely has the green light always lit, sometimes it goes off while idling, other times while driving. But when the yellow light starts to flicker and I rarely see green....I know it is time to replace the battery.

Something to consider I guess

The first thing that comes to mind is that something got hit or isn't put back together after the oil service. I'd check the sensor areas especially where the lower cover attaches back to the car. Maybe there's something loose or something that's interfering with the TPMS. Good luck.

Turns out I just needed to unplug the battery for a bit to let the ECU reset. A friend of mine works at Honda and said sometimes the VSA stuff can go wonky while the car is on ramps. Fixed it right up. :)
