sup all, hope everyone is doing well this morning. was wondering what everyone is doing for minor scuffs on the door lining? i've had the car for a week and a half now and someone already scuffed it. i know some have mentioned magic eraser in the past on other forums but i've never tried it and wouldnt like to chance it here. i used a damp mf cloth and it didnt work as i originally thought it was residue. its minor i know, but it ticks me off it's brand new and not even a month in and someone already scuffed it. i also looked at the parts site and the exploded view and i do not believe that top part is sold separately (correct me if i'm wrong)

thoughts or ideas?

I am with you there; I have a fat white scuff on the same door, down by the speaker. Spit didn't work (you know, the initial try of rubbing it off). Was there anything on the mf? I am going to attempt the mf with some warm water on it. It isn't much of a try but it is better than putting chemicals on it. I did find this, someone please correct me quickly if this is not a good idea.

and I figure where it says "rinse" that I'd wipe the area with a clean mf cloth with water.

There was nothing on the cloth. I looked at it again this morning and did some more rubbing with the mf and it got a bit better but not satisfied because it looks faded. The good thing is that the door liner is not that expensive and the process to take it off is pretty easy as well.

If it ends up worse, I'll just end up buying and replacing because I don't think its covered under warranty.

If you're going to replace it, at least give it a year or something. More scuffs will come and you'll be replacing it every month.

EDIT:
You could try some plastic-safe cleaner. Sold at any auto parts store or Walmart or wherever.

I've always just used glass cleaner. Never heard of it being an issue until recently when I watched some detailing videos.

That's how I roll :headbang:, just kidding. I'll see how it looks and use some detailer on it, see if I can't make it that matte color again. I'm pretty sure the dealer dropped something on it now because I just noticed a darker spot on the drivers side door too.

Aerospace 303 Protectant works fantastic on the plastics. Works perfect for all the door scuffs I started to make when first getting the car. Doesn't leave it super shiny and I've used it on all my previous cars- very highly recommended amongst fellow detailers I know.

Your local auto parts store should carry it too, I know my O'Reilly's does.

There's a dark spot on my dash. Not sure when it showed up. Looks like a drop of something got on it. Might have been when tinted and got a visor strip. Might have been a drop of glass cleaner when cleaning the inside of the windshield. Bothers me all the time but can't really replace the dash lol

I had these on where the seat belt retracts, and the door pockets. I got a dark grey permanent marker from a stationery shop, little dab, rubbed it in bosh job done
