So I bought a rear diffuser for my sedan since I already had the Type R front bumper conversion and wanted to balance the look.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-2016-2018-Honda-Civic-4dr-Sedan-JDM-Rear-Bumper-Diffuser-LED-3rd-Brake-Light/183260655998?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

This was the diffuser I ordered and put on and all I had to do was have an exhaust that goes along the cut outs

When i went to a muffler shop they said they needed to cut out some metal that was blocking the way of the cut out
Heres a picture of what I'm talking about:

This muffler shop said they don't do any cutting and I had to go to a body shop to get that area cut out (or do it myself which I probably will do)
would this be wise

I have seen one on amazon without the light which I am leaning toward because I don't want the headache of trying to connect the light and it will fit my aesthetic better as I am trying to go more black and adding a light will defeat that purpose. I think this upgrade is more to give the rear a sportier look which fits the body lines better instead of the incognito, hybrid style, non existent exhaust these cars come with. The nice thing about the ones I have seen on Amazon is they come with the the dual exhaust exit for two sizes which is single tips or dual tips as well. I was leaning towards the dual tips to be able to put oval shaped exhaust tips on but after seeing some of the images here I might just go with the single tipped look.

Did you go for any one? I'm still on the fence. All the ones without the center light look like they sit the most flush, but all the diffusers without the light looks like it has a massive fitment issue. Argh.
Not yet hoping to have it on some time in June, my little brother borrowed my car while I was in Mexico last month and destroyed my front lip and cracked my front grill assembly so have been doing those replacement/repairs, thankfully he didn't ruin the front bumper so was a pretty easy fix I repaired yesterday. Will let you know as soon as I pull the trigger on one and get around to attempting the install.
