Just had it serviced for the wheel being off to the right now it's off to the left. Also saw the alignment sheet and the left front camber was in red at 7.3 degrees. The service advisor said it couldn't be corrected. Does that sound right? Something about not being able to loosen the bolt? Wtf.

Show the sheet of your alignment specs. Doesn't sound correct. Have you had an suspension changes? Hit a pothole? 7.3 degrees camber is WAY too much btw. Something is wrong.

Wheel centering? well, that depends on the splines on the steering shaft that the wheel attaches too. Sometimes, yeah, it can be "off a spline".

not sure what book is, but 7deg sounds more like caster.
7deg camber would be something seriously bent.

I'm going to swing by and see if they'll show me the sheet again. There were 3 boxes on each wheel. All were green except front left tire center box was red.i just find it odd that something suspension related cannot be adjusted on a type r

I’m curious about this myself as I too feel that my steering wheel is a tick off-center to the right while going straight and has been since I rolled off the lot with 7 miles on the clock a couple weeks ago. It’s certainly live-able to me for now even though sometimes it drives me crazy as I have a bit of OCD.

I’m hesitant to bring mine into service for the alignment to be checked and reset because my fear is that it will come back with the steering wheel to the left instead. At the same time, I’d feel more comfortable knowing that my alignment is good and that everything is within spec so that my tires don’t wear unevenly or something. I’ve read that during transport from the U.K., being strapped down too tightly can result in the toe being thrown off a bit but nothing that will cause any issues with the car. I’m hoping that’s worst case scenario with mine.

Can anyone else maybe confirm that these CTR’s are just very road crown sensitive and the steering wheels tend to move off center on crowned roads? I’ve wondered if that’s all it is as well.

OK so I spoke to the tech and he said it was the caster that was off and the reason it could no be adjusted was that the alignment rack was having issues which were corrected later in the day. I made an appointment for next Tuesday hopefully it will be good this time. He also noted the high tread wear can also play a role. At just under 800 miles he said there was a 1/32 difference in the front tires.
