I’m totally glad I waited for the 2019 Si. The only thing I wish it had was Honda Sensing (I only really want Adaptive Cruise), but it has, literally, everything else I wanted: turbo, 6MT, LSD, CarPlay, push-button start, subwoofer, killer seats, VOLUME KNOB. Like, dayum! So, trade off Adaptive for EVERYTHING ELSE?! Sure. #SUATMM :drive:
I feel the same way, the only think I would add to that list is the LED headlights. Canada has them but the US doesn't. Bummer

Speaking of the exhaust, does it sound different (better?) compared to other trim levels? Or is it just a looks thing?
I don't find it sounds different, even if it does I wouldn't brag about it lol It's just a 2.0NA with 148HP afterall. The muffler design actually bulky and kinda hangs out the right side of rear bumper... The Si has a better enclosure around the exhaust port and makes it looks more "built in" uniformly with the body.

I much prefer the center exhaust of the hatchback sport though.

I've always thought the outlet on the sedan Sport model looks like it hangs too low. I wish Honda would integrate them better. The hatch Sport exhaust would have been nice on the sedan IMO.

I agree, the only thing I believe they did was slap a sport badge on it and put the exhaust tip and change the front end a bit. Did they at least add adaptive suspension like the Si? Because if that’s the case then I can call my car a sport to. It has the same engine and a six speed manual. Mine is the 2018 lx manual. It was literally the cheapest model that Honda offered in the civic. But I wanted the 2.0 manual so it was a win win for me. Plus I still think my front end is more aggressive than the sport frond end

A single side exit exhaust cutout would've been fine that exhaust looks like an after thought

I actually like the chrome. It’s not too much, just enough. I have never jumped on board with the blacked out grille and blacked out rims look. I like the sleek look. I like how the chrome grille flows with the chrome trim on the doors. That’s why I got the rims to go with it. It’s a sophisticated look lol.

That’s what I’m talking about lol. These cars don’t need much to look good. Just a set of rims and tinted windows completes it. Looks good! I see that black grille lol. I feel ya to. Sleek with a touch of sport on the front.

I am happy it doesn't have Honda Sensing. I hate nannies with a passion. The system is also a nightmare up here in the winter, so 6 months of the year it doesn't work.

I agree with you... mostly. On darker cars like yours and my Cosmic Blue, the contrasting chrome works well. I think the black grille looks dull on the darker colors. But the black does give a sporty look and looks good on light colored cars.

It's sort of the same with black wheels. I think they look like crap on dark colors but on white or silver they look good.

The above was just my opinion. It really boils down to personal taste.

Yes I agree it boils down to personal taste. I also agree about contrast. Like my girlfriends hatchback is the light silver and has the black grille and black rims. It has good contrast. She like that sporty look while I like more of the sleek look. I told her to pick whatever she wants. But we are both happy with our cars. Here are both of them in the garage. Both of them need a car wash bad lol

Yeah, I’ve read elsewhere that it can sometimes be either hypersensitive or unresponsive.
