That's the way I've always modded my cars. Simple, understated exterior mods, plenty of interior customizations and hidden performance mods. I've always gotten a kick out of being much faster and better than people expect. Sleeper all the way.

Now as far as the Hondata plate surround, that's a huge no no, sleeper or not. Can you imagine taking your car in for warranty work and the techs seeing that you're tuned?
I am a big fan of less external branding whenever possible. I expect my warranty to be trimmed shortly by the dealer...I can't expect them to offer any tiny bit of warranty on my electronics at this point. Waiting until next year for performance mods... at least I will get 2 of my 3 years warranty for the drive train.

Yeah, a hondata plate might as well say "warranty void". Though they could always remove it before claiming warranty.

Replaced the front sway bar with a whiteline 27mm, definitely not the easiest mod

Have you noticed any major improvements?

I am on the fence for this mod. I have WhiteLine for the rear and love the improved handling.

Grabbed some wheels from @CyberCT this weekend. They are in great condition and were super easy to transport in the hatch. Cleaned them up and took off the nitro caps, replaced with black anodized caps which look so much better, and then waxed them. I need to get a good tire cleaner/gel cause the tires are really brown.

Any suggestions?

Truthfully not sure, to me the front end feels a bit heavier but it could be a placebo effect, Lane changes feel a bit more go-kart like, I would have to spend some more time with it, also get a alignment done, i do have it on the more aggressive setting, as of now i have both front and rear whiteline with lateral locks.

If you have access to a lift you will definitely have an easier time, oh and a tie rod tool

Didn't do much on the Civic today, just put on this custom made Honda Sensing sticker, and prepared the Horn kit for near future install.

With my tint, I really can't see it that well in dark, but it geta better when it's under natural light:)

The Horn kit! I've got some connectors, wires (more then enough, good to prepare for the future), the PIAA horns, and CHH adapter. I say I have put together like 90% of it (not in the picture) the rest is just I'm not sure if there's a positive/negative difference here, can someone give me more insight?:banghead:

Other than these, I've worked on the Galant, the wrap on the roof starts to peel off, so I decide to take it off, there goes 4 years of carbon roof life~ perhaps I'll rewrap a glossy-er one soon:cool:

Lots of residue to be cleaned off, plus there's a spot I should do a touch up since 4 years ago lol

Thanks for the reply. All these suspension upgrades are very tempting projects.

The wheels look dope, I am going to opt in for same size wheels once I'm due for tire replacement.

And all these news of recalls/extended warranty due to oil dilution and airbag issues made me want to wait until a few years before doing any performance mod (only had the car for 3 months).

Yeah, I am with you on this, aaaand it totally gave me cover to procrastinate, well, pivot to fun electronics stuff. I will definitely reflash to factory and remove the ktuner before my next check in.

Also, I completed the led reflector comparison tonight ijdmtoy vs corsomotion. No spoilers on which one I liked best.

I will post the write up tomorrow time permitting.

I also replaced my taillights today with the newly sealed set.

Corsomotion on left, ijdmtoy on right.

EDIT: The quick connects are so I don't have to break splices in order to remove the reflectors/control module. Splices should not be fucked with. It also makes the bumper easy to remove.

That's exactly what I did! I kept my eye on the classifieds for a couple of months and these popped up at a great price. Hopefully you can find just as good of a deal :D
