I do live in the North East (currently) and do make short trips 4.5 miles one way work commute. If I create a rich oil mix via VTA does this MITIGATE the oil dilution issue? Or does it create a SYNERGISTIC effect? I wonder if one issue corrects the other or if both issues together are double negatives? I have a 2019 so ... should the software upgrade be "effective" technically my car is NOT in the extended warranty program... I read a lot of forum data (did my homework) and at least one member hinted the two would cancel out each other and NOT create a double negative. Expert opinions? Thoughts?

The "Experts" work for a Corporation called Honda.

Intentionally causing one issue. Running rich to correct another issue sounds absurd! Id never live my life with a brand new vehicle and trying aome shenanigans like that.

You’ll end up causing other unforeseen problems for trying to do that. Just drive it as it is and just do oil changes every 5-7.5k miles. It’s what I do. I drive 10 miles to work. I’m in the safe zone but because I do Uber eats, I have to keep my oil fresh frequently.

Leave the stock BPV in place. If you are worried there is independent oil analysis as a way to know instead of just guessing based on smell or oil level.
