i have a 2017 hatch sport touring and I'm looking at coilovers. A local shop can get the D2s and the BC’s with about a $120 difference. Looking for recommendations.

i think...

d2 coilovers rate is 7.5k front / 7k rear ....... was told that the rear springs are progressive... meaning.. as the load gets heavier or during more aggressive driving? springs stiffen up
mono tube

bc coilovers rate is 6k front and 5k rear
mono tube

your other option is buddy club coilovers... 7.5k front and 4k rear
inverted style tube
better made design ... same price range as bc coilovers.

all these brand above has front camber plates and damping adjustability
d2 package comes with adjustable Front Sway Bar End Links
not sure about other two brands/package.
call / ask to verify with seller.

price wise...
d2 > bc/buddy club

quality wise.
buddy club > d2/bc

i hope these information helped. good luck!

Thanks for this! The local shop that i plan to use only charges 85 a corner even if i source them elsewhere. If you have other recommendations on manufacturers in that price range it would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for my ignorance, i have spent countless hours researching on this board and i am more confused now than before i started researching.

Ultimately I'm looking to remove wheel gap and keep similar rough road ride characteristics to stock (read: no bounce) but the ability to change ride height in the winter months. Northwest Indiana winters can be rough.

Anyone hear anything about about silver’s neomax? I inquired with a vendor about about the d2’s and tein’s and they recommended these.

Why the hell is it so hard to find coilovers for the hatch?!? I’ve just been informed that the silvers kit is not available for the hatch... buddy clubs are not available, Teins only make sets for the coupe and the sedan..

Yeah so far I think options are quite limited for the hatch model. Guess we just gotta keep waiting

Check out AMR Engineering, they make goods stuff, but might be out of your price range. Have a set for my ITR.
