Airbag ground wire removal

Trying to remove airbag but ground wire won't come off. Looks like a regular connection but refuses to come off. It wiggles side to side but won't pull back.

Sometimes those clips gets stubborn. Slide a small flat tip screwdriver to lift it at their 'latch' then pull. Sometimes pushing just doesn't work.

I used pliers gently to pull off the ground wire.

Any update on how you got the ground off? I have a 2019 Si and was having one hell of a time and had to give up. In the videos I've seen on YouTube it seemed pretty easy for people to just pull it off and one guy used a pick tool to push on a tab. But I think all those models were pre 2019. Not sure if there were any changes made to the design for 2019.

Finished installing my new steering wheel tonight and wanted to share how i got the ground wire to come off. Theres a small tab on the top side that needs to be pushed in order to release the connector. Do not force it or pull hard on the wire as you may break something. Just simply press on the tab using a pick tool or a small flat head with one hand while pulling with the other hand and it should come off quite easily. The circled part in the picture is the tab im referring to. Hope this helps somebody.
