A lot of them are running a hoosier drag radial and slipping the clutch. M&H makes a 18" slick as well that you could run.

How come they can upgrade turbo? I though the fuel pump limited us to that kind of upgrades?
You can change the turbo and move the power curve make some more up top with the same fuel. Or you can run nitrous on the low low like they are known to do in PR.

with TC system is it safe to copy 3rd TQ tables in R mode into 2nd TQ on the 93 octane tune? @Hondata or anyone else?

Safe? Sure. Efficient? Nope.

For reference, I'm breaking traction at the top of second gear on the 91 octane tune. This is a torque request of 480 at the very top end (6500 - 7000). You're going to be pulling a bunch of timing out if you copy paste that 480 torque request across the entire RPM band (which is what the 3rd gear map is doing).

really depends on the tires your running and how much traction you have.

I've been running full torque in 2nd without losing a lot of ign timing but i never really lost a lot of traction with the 91 tune.

I just notice (I'm on 93) 2nd is making power power than 3rd across all the rpms. WOT is set to 480nm already across entire rpm

I swear 3rd was higher lol

I ended up just making comfort mode to 150nm across the board lol, saves me a bunch of gas dding lol

This is where I'm at for sport and +R in 2nd gear:

For reference, improved throttle, full tq 1st and 2nd looks like this:

It's got that same feeling that 3rd gear has where it picks up really nicely at part throttle, but is linear in how it applies power so there are no surprises. Easy to drive carefully, don't have to dig in too far to get it motivated a little and if you plant it, it moves, but not too much. I like it a lot so far.

this is my 2nd.

Weather is always nice here and with the 265 RT-615Ks, it doesn't spin too bad. VSA did cut some throttle on one of my pulls but i think it was because i was going uphill.

Comfort mode is same as stock comfort mode. only thing different between sport and R is values <80% to change the throttle response.

as you can see here, the factory vsa didn't close the throttle plate.

the "hondata" traction control did lower ign timing in this area though. but it was only for a split second. I don't remember if it was cause the road was bumpy or i was just spinning though.
