Has the AC Control unit replacement worked for air coming out warm?

Long story short, I realized this spring that my 2017 Civic was blowing lukewarm air when I used the AC. My husband replaced the fuse, switch, etc., with no luck. Took it to the dealer about a month ago, and they couldn't find a leak, but charged a fortune to "evaluate", and decided that my accident to my front end when I hit a deer in 2016 must have resulted in the coolant leaking out and was never replaced. (Air worked fine after the accident all last summer, so I was a little skeptical about that). It was also the second thing in a row that I brought it in for that they blamed on the accident. They charged me another fortune to replace it, and the entire thing cost me about $400.
Fast forward to the next warm day about two weeks later, and I realized it was still blowing warmish air. Couldn't tell when it was cool outside.
I just saw posts on the forum about the Service Bulletin for updating the A/C Control Unit. Has anyone had their air work/get colder by doing so? Also, how do you know if your car is one of those impacted? I typed in my VIN, but it looks like it's just looking for recalls.
Thanks!

The bulletin I believe you are referring to has nothing to do with your issue - it's a reprogram on the AC control unit to prevent it from blowing hot air before the engine is warm so the engine gets to temp faster. It's a bandaid to reduce the incidence of oil dilution.

Gotcha - thanks. I was hoping, since what they did for $400 did nothing to fix the problem......

Both my wife and I have 2016 Civics and the air conditioning on both died. Our dealer informed us that due to environmental laws the chemical in the condenser was changed but not the condenser metal. The new chemical ate the metal. Our dealer is now replacing the 2016 condenser free of charge and the metal in the new condenser are designed to handle the new chemical.

In my wife's case Honda needed to replace the condenser. In my case they need to replace the compressor which is backordered.
