My apologies if this has been asked before, but I did a quick search and only saw one result and it was for an SI.

I just got a notification that I'll need to do an emissions test soon and I was wondering what everyone's experience is taking the test with a tune. I'm in Maryland if that matters.

I think it should be fine as is, but I don't want to fail the test, go home, flash back to stock, and pay to take the test again.

I have a 2017 Hatchback Sport with a lightly customized 18psi starter tune. Thanks!

If you left the exhaust on, catalytic converter and all.. Should be good to go I would think..

The consensus seems to be to flash back to stock.

I'd much rather take a few minutes flashing back and forth rather than potentially wasting time driving around, paying twice, etc.

Just remember when flashing back to stock you give the car time to clear all the ready codes.

But, are there people who have got inspections on tune, should be fine IMO.

Different state, but never had an issue in PA with my tuned WRX. They cannot see that the car is tuned. Unplug your ktuner as they'll likely need to plug into your OBD2 port to check that things are working properly.
