Huh? I am now 68 & I like the pearl paint. The sun brings out the green and blue flakes.

You're also 67 contributing to an online forum. You definitely seem young at heart but I still stand by that grey pearl is marketed towards the younger crowd.

I have a Polished Metal and I think that everything about the Hatch is still highlighted on it. It does appear very dark when it is overcast, but when the sun shines on it, it looks amazing. I know everyone on this thread loves SG, but I know it was not a color I would have went with. It is absolutely a unique color, but for me, I felt it was a little dull. There is an SG that drives around where I live all the time and I just could not get used to the color. This Sonic Gray Pearl Hatchback Sport pulled up next to me at a traffic light yesterday.

Hey sonic grey's out there! i am in the market for new rims. thinking about going with the 18s. BUT i am between Gloss black with red accents or a full on red rim....is that too loud? what
do you guys recommend? I am wanting to go with a taller tire instead of lowering to get rid of the wheel gap...any lower and my fat butt can't get in hahaha. what size tires do you think will
get the job done?

I personally plan on going with some oem sport rims and add some 245/40/18 tires onto them. They will be taller tires and fill in the gap, i do not want to lower the car.

Can you please post more pictures like this? I'm thinking about doing the red underbody pieces like you did and that alternate wing. Would love to see it from other angles.

I get lots of compliments on the color still after having for over 2 years.

One of my friends went with me when I went to look at SGP in person at a dealer for my R, he fell in love with the color and has a hatch in SGP. I’ll try getting a few photos with my twin. Here are a few photos that show how different this color looks.(most of these I’ve posted in the photos thread)

Owned a '16 EX-T sedan in lunar silver but when I saw my '19 EX hatch in Sonic Gray, I knew it was my next ride. Get a ton of compliments on the color but that's not why I got it. It's just an awesome color to me.

I love it! If you bought the car for you like did mine. Love the color! It seems to be a color that looks different at different angles/lighting( sonic great) if I wasn't set on my coupe the SGP is my fav color on the hatch.

So long as this color is available, it will be the only color I buy. It's become my all-time favorite. Wish they made the Si in SGP. Then again I also wish there was an Si hatchback, but a man can dream.
