Unofficial ETA of March was on page 6. We understand the process and have acknowledged PRL’s commitment to the CTR community, hence the anticipation within this thread.Honestly @PRL Motorsports, whoever’s keeps up with your forum page and is writing all these responses is a much bigger and better person than me lol. I’ve seen a lot of negative, impatient, and down right stupid comments. I work at a machine shop so I pretty much know exactly what it takes to get a prototype started and transformed into a production unit. It’s a lot of design, machine work, out sourcing, testing and QC standards. Im sure you are doing everything you can to get this thing out as promptly as possible.
You never promised a specific date of release besides spring of 2019. Which btw it still is spring, so not past due yet. And the car hasn’t even been out 2 years yet unlike the 3 year comment lol.
So I’m not trying to make anyone mad but please give these people a lil room to work. Maybe in the end you just might get a better product.
The fact that many are buying the PRL stage 1 intake (I will be doing the same) while still waiting for the completion of stage 2 speaks of the CTR community’s commitment to PRL. To have somebody who already has a Mishimoto intake say that loyal customers are impatient because they’ve been in standby since December is unwise to say the least. I’ve passed up many good deals from competitors and have many other mods including dyno tuning waiting on this intake. Nobody like delays, but many of us like myself have been checking up on PRL’s progress every day for the last 6 months.
PRL, I’ve never questioned your product quality but today my confidence as a consumer is in a fragile state. I’m sure you guys are doing your best and are more frustrated than anybody, but some of us are growing weary of all the “coming soon” posts and teasers with no date to plan for future upgrades. Please revise your post to reflect the inevitable delays you may be experiencing before this silly thread does anymore damage to your growing business.
