That’s very true but 157k miles to 117k miles one owner for the same price at a Honda dealer were u don’t even have to give them cash u can finance the car. In my eyes that’s the better deal in my book. But ur car is clean I’ll give u that but a 50k difference in miles is what would win me over to the other one.
At the end of the day...money talks and I’m sure a real buyer could motivate either of us on price.

However in my professional opinion the exterior condition of their ITR vs my ITR is night & day. Their 1 owner car is rough and has been beat on, where my 2 owner car has been babied it’s entire life.

As for milage, once a car is over 100k it is what it is but the B-Series engine and drivetrain is the easiest platform in the world to work on and most clients in the market for these older ITR’s are looking for a chassis that’s never been molested. My ITR engine bay is 100% completely stock, their ITR has had a bunch of after market parts on it throughout its lifetime and even though it’s been converted back to stock I don't believe it is as complete as mine.

One thing is for sure...that complete statement barely makes sense!
Thanks for the free bumps!

Definitely agree with this. Gorgeous R and good luck with your sale. Should have never parted with the four, yes four, I had. For what it's worth, and I am now a CTR owner, the ITR is way more special to me and I feel to most hardcore R-bloodline enthusiasts.

Yeah, I've seen the ITR at Gunn Honda. If you were considering there's for $20K mine would be a steal!
IMO, my ITR is in a lot better condition & history.

You do realize you can get a loan through a bank to buy from a private seller, right?

Guess we can agree on one thing. You must have garbage credit to have a 14%+ interest auto loan. I've seen plenty of auto loans for used car at 2-4% or less in some cases, but I encourage you to do some research for yourself.... but we know you won't.

I have to agree. I don't know where this guy is getting his information, but banks grant private auto loans for used cars every day. The risk is based on your credit and your income levels. Cars are depreciating assets, so if the bank were to base its decision on the projected future value of the vehicle, no one would ever be granted an auto loan.

he has absolutely no clue what he is talking about....god I don't understand these cats sometimes, they post as if they know what they're talking about and anything against it is wrong. You most definitely can get a used car loan for 2-4%, now if you have shit credit that's another story.

No reason to get upset. Just share some data if you want to call someone out. This is straight from my local credit union's website. Older cars will carry a higher interest rate on a loan. I don't think it would matter if it's a private party or dealership sale though.

Yep, I was gonna say... you can get a super low interest loan on a fairly new used car... but on something 20 years old? Bend over and prepare thy anus for pillaging.

But, free bump to a sick car. The new owner will not be disappointed. I’m sure there’s more than one enthusiast around with a bit of money to burn on a historic and extremely fun and extremely reliable vehicle. Personally, I’d just throw that sucker on Bring a Trailer and watch 25k roll on in :D

I guess my credit union was being generous to me then, they quoted me 4% on an 02 s2k I was thinking about purchasing last year.
