OK, let's get serious. Just broke 200 miles, so it's time to start planning my upgrades! I wanted to get some feedback, since I'm brand new to the Civic world. Here's my list:

- R clutch - my understanding is that the stock clutch won't last long with higher tunes. Are there any better options? For those who have done it, any issues or downsides?
- KTuner 2.0 - looks like a no-brainer here?
- PRL Cobra CAI - seems to be the most recommended one
- Exhaust - this is where I'm stuck. I hate highway drone, any feedback on a good exhaust that doesn't drone at all?
- MF fluid change - Amsoil as I use it for everything.

Also, can anyone recommend a good tuning shop in Charlotte, NC area?

Anything else that I'm missing powerwise? Leaving handling for next year, as I'm planning on keeping her a while!

I installed the CTR clutch and flywheel. It is absolutely fabulous. The only downside is that if you keep the stock CMC you will probably want to raise the clutch pedal a bit to give it more throw. Not an issue with me. Just upgrade the CMC if you want the stock level of throw.

I would get the KTuner first, from TwoStepPerformance (TSP) so you can get their base tunes. The stock clutch can handle Map 1/2 so I hear, depending how hard you flog it. I'd do the CAI and exhaust before the clutch, in case there's other mods (sway bar upgrade?) you want to do with the front subframe dropped. MTF can obviously be done at your convenience.

I know 27WON spent a lot of time tuning their exhaust to eliminate drone on the L15 platform. Not super informed about their Si exhaust but maybe do some research on that. Whatever you decide on the exhaust, I'd do the DP and FP at the same time for a full turbo-back exhaust setup.

Thanks, great to hear! I think I'm going to do it sooner rather than later just for the piece of mind if anything.

Yeah, I'll be ordering KTuner this weekend, together with the CAI. Need to do a lot more reading on the exhaust before I commit. Thanks!

I don't personally have these myself but in addition to what you have listed and from what I've read:
Front pipe and down pipe
Flex fuel kit

Leave the stock exhaust alone except for the fp/dp. It is not a restrictive exhaust unless you are considering weight in which case go nuts I suppose.

Rest of your planned mods look fine. Nice to see someone did their research....or just is having a brilliant stroke of luck.

Thanks, I'm pretty methodical with my mods, but all I've done over the last 12+ years was bikes, and I was a GTI fanatic before, so I feel like I'm starting from scratch here.

For exhaust, I'm looking for weight savings, looks, and sound. Don't mind spending money to make sure it doesn't drone, my pet peeve.
