Pics of windshield front visor strip tint? How far should I go down?

Anyone have their front windshield visor strip tinted? How far did you go down? Trying to decide whether I should go down to:
1) AS1 line
2) 2 triangles on the side of the windshield
3) Down far enough to cover up the dot matrix on the rearview mirror

Would appreciate any pics/recommendations! Thanks!

This is how far mine goes. can take measurements tomorrow or more pictures if you want. its like a 5mm above the little arrow

Mine covers the dot matrix, giving it one straight line, side to side. It is a few millimeters below the 2 triangles

I wonder what happens if your state says 35% is good & you drive into a state that says 70% is the law.

Your car is subject to the laws of the State / Province it's registered in.

Here is mine, installed by dealer about 25,000 miles before I got the car.

These links may be correct for the state guidelines; but not for county or city. For example Ohio. The lists say 50/any/any. I know a few people in Cincinnati I work with that have been given tickets for 25% on rear and back windows.

Go right to the bottom black sun shade dots.

Mine looks like this. I had a hard time getting any installer to do it the right way where its just straight across the windshield. They all said cause of the curve, it was gonna be further down on the sides than in the center. First guy did get it straight but charged me an extra 20.00 making it 80.00 and did a scrappy job. Next place took me out in the shop while trying everything they could and couldn't get it to look right. So, since they were only charging me 30.00 total instead of 80.00 like the first place, I just went with them. It comes WAY down past the AS1 line on the sides, but is right to it the middle.
At first I didn't think I would like it, but it makes it look like I'm in a cockpit of a plane or something the way it curves when looking out it,lol

As far as sides go i went down to the little line marked by the factory and in the middle it covers the factory dots, can take pics tomorrow. As far as state laws.... my drive/passenger are 50% tint and all other windows in the back are 5% limo, so im not meeting state regulations anyway, local tint shop doesn’t care what you want, they will put anything on.

Mine goes as far down as the mirror mount and curves out from there about a inch or so passed the arrows. Here in Florida window tint is like the Wild West, you can get away with almost anything.

Yup, it’s because all the scumbags that have no life up north move down here lol.
