if you have more questions about this then you should do some research and look into the stock throttle reactions. you can use ktuner and various other logging equipment to determine if we are lying to you about this.
I was responding from experience with this car in an informal response.
if you need proof then do the research.

Sometimes i get tired of people. i am not perfect and don't expect others to be perfect either,
but sometimes people tickle my unfunny bone with quick snappy responses made from faulty logic instead of experience.
I guess i need to go back and read some of my own incorrect posts so i can get some perspective.
I have looked into this which is why I have a problem with 50% pedal equating to 100% open throttle. I see now you meant that how far you depress the gas pedal isn't going to be linear with the throttle body response. I'm sorry if I came off harsh, as that wasn't my intention.

Theoretically sure but we're talking about real world application. If you want to tell people 50% gas pedal will get you WOT on stock tune or one of the KTuner OTS maps I call BS.
Just look at the throttle tables your proof is there.

We aren't saying there is a 50% to 100% relationship. But don't be surprised that isn't linear. Also engines don't need WOT to pull hard

That was literally said in this thread lol.

you can be wot when using 50% pedal..

You could be at only 50 percent pedal and the throttle actually be wide open..

That was literally said in this thread lol.
Those were examples of the capabilities of drive by wire.
The right words to define it is that gas pedal and throttle valve don't have to be linearly related.

Thanks for all the responses. Some info........

- The chart above does show difference between the plate / peddle. That is cool. I'm guessing then between the 3 of Plate, Peddle and RPM, at some point you'll hit a limit and there's no telling which will come first. And, doesn't really matter.

- The rain stopped and I was able to find some dry highway last night to make a few runs. I don't think I got to WOT once (see below), but I did go further open than ever before and wow, that was fun. I actually saw the red REV lights blink once and I backed off. This happened without WOT / %throttle hitting 100.

- If you have NOT used the data logging tool in the KTuner program, you are missing some great stuff. Just staggering the amount of data you have there, including your position on a GPS map. WTF!!! This may be old hat to many of you, but for me this was like finding a still-valid coupon for a double scope at the ice cream shop. Check it out. Now - using the data from the run I did, I did manage to hit 80%. I'm not sure if that was WOT, I'll look at the data some more. BUT, I did confirm that this car is a hoot to drive and I've so much more to learn.

- AND LAST: I didn't intend to ruffle feathers with my dumb question. But I will ask more and clearly some great info came out and I surely wasn't the only one who learned something. All on the same team, boys.

Drive safe, and sincerely, thank you.

No problem don't hesitate to ask questions.

As the old saying goes, there are no dumb questions, just dumb thread titles that help no one.

If you want dumb... I coundn't find the definition of WOT anywhere so I asked in a thread and was told "Wide Open Throttle", BUT until that time I was interpreting WOT to mean "Wild On Turbo" - After Ktune with TSP I believe my definition is far more accurate than the technical definition.

Drive Safe, "Drive WOT"

.. but, you clicked on it......... go figure.

[I'll try to be a bit more descriptive in my thread titles in the future. Don't want to waste any one's time.]
