We've kept this project under wraps over the past few weeks while we've been testing our prototype kit, but we are now proud to announce the release of our Plug 'N Play Flex Fuel Kit for the 2017+ Honda Civic FK8 Type-R. All components are here and ready to go aside from wiring harnesses, so stay tuned to when we will be releasing an ETA within the next couple of weeks. Glad to hear that!
To our knowledge, KTuner does not wish to offer Flex Fuel capability until proper fueling upgrades are offered.

Our kit is a true plug 'n play kit that can be installed in minutes. No add-a-fuse, wiring, cutting, splicing or gauge mounting is required.

So what you are saying is your are currently doing R&D on a fueling solution kit but can't leak anything. lol

Sorry, please excuse my ignorance is this kit only beneficial to those that run a higher blend of ethanol beyond 10%?

Our flex fuel kit will allow you to tune for additional power and flex between pump gas and a pump/ethanol blend.

So I see there is an option for flex fuel e-tune, who is doing the e tuning?

Question: can I install this before I get a tune? I'm not saying I'm adding E85 beforehand...just will I get codes/errors if this is on with no tune?

I believe it uses the ect2 for the ethanol reading to the computer. You should be able to install the kit though and just not hook up that part until you get a tuner/tuner. If you do the ect2 part you will get a emissions code/rev match disabled.

You will need to tune to extract the power from the ethanol
