Hey,

So I got a muffler delete maybe 3 days after getting the car last May and I loved the little pops between shifts. I got a catless downpipe this January and that just made everything louder and more fun. After reading a bunch of forums, ppl have said that turning off rev hang with a catless dp will make the exhaust pop more. Last Thursday I bought a flashpro, installed the +6 psi tune, turned off rev hang, and now I have no backfire!! Only while the car is warming up do I get some pops. Anyone else have this problem? Any insight?

Got a catted downpipe. In my experience, backfire, or "gunshot" I'd call it, happens occasionally. I've been at a 50/50 when I shift above 3000 rpm. When I shift, I step on gas a little bit more(like a blip-ish) and let go of clutch to engage, it does a gunshot or loud bang.

That happens to me every once in a while too but I preferred the sound before. It was a couple of nice pops between shifts EVERY shift

No backfire means your car is now running properly.

Eliminating rev hang means less fuel is going to your engine after releasing the accelerator pedal.

It's because the calibration is closer to ideal

Shift at 1500-1800rpm, exhaust gurgles with pops, with or without rev-hang.
