The only reason I was hesitant to get the HKS Legamax was because of the dual tip, but I decided to go with it anyways when Tunersport had it on sale for less than $1000. No regret after 2 months, and the dual tip doesn't bother me at all. For the price, it's the best exhaust out of Japan IMO. However, if I were to spend $2500-3000, I would go with the Remus.

Yeah Legamax is more my price range, Remus or the Sequenc-Ti would be my 2nd option

where in socal are you? best bet is to go to some ctr get together they do often or meet up with people in the local area and listen to them in person and figure out what is best for you.

r400 drones a lot imo.
Im in Pico Rivera. Yeah that sounds like a good idea.
Just listening to sound clips on youtube doesnt so the exhaust justice.
My bro is near Torrance with an M2

Vote for Remus here, which replaced my Greddy 3-tip HG since it droned terribly. The Remus has little to no drone vs. stock exhaust. Was a bit pricey at almost $2g with sound controller but was well worth it in my opinion.

Yeah videos usually never sound accurate and everybody has different tolerance to drone so its better if you ride or drive it in person.
if you ever want to hear the sequence manufacturing exhaust message me lol.

The remus exhaust has a sound controller for $2000? I thought the active exhausts were closer to $3000.
Which exact model did you get?

Thanks

remus pricing depends on the tips. If you get the cheapest tips it's around 2000, and if you get the most expensive tip, it's like 2600 or so. That is including the $500ish sound controller.

The following are the active exhaust that are available currently.

Stainless:
FI exhaust (electronic valve i believe) ~$2500
Remus (electronic) ~$2000 - $2600
Army trix (electronic) ~$2600

Titanium:
Boost logics (boost actuated) ~$2500
Sequence Manufacturing (boost actuated) ~ $2800

I had the greddy triple tip but changed to sequence manufacturing.

Really don't have much choices on an exhaust that doesn't drone in the more affordable end. I think only the Legamax or the Q300 is drone friendly. The car in general drones around the 2500-3000 rpm so most exhausts just amplifies that.

I got the catback (without the front pipe) with the black chrome tips (0036 98CB) and sound controller for just a tad under $2000 from a vendor on Facebook.

Just as boosted180sx said, prices vary depending on the tip you choose, the carbon tips cost almost a grand itself:confused:
