Orange peel on ABM '18

I've noticed this a few times but this view today (and yes my car is filthy, it just rained yesterday) struck me as really bad, and I saw a newer '19 ABM at a dealer yesterday that was pretty bad for orange peel as well.

I highly doubt it but is this something I could bring up with Honda? And if not, being that this car has pretty thin clear and paint to begin with, is it something I just have to kinda live with, or if not, it's a full wet sand, re-clear type situation? I have used light polishes on it (M205, CarPro Essence+) and they've not really made any improvement.

I have a 2019 CW. The whole car has orange peel. The worse is my hood.

Chasing swirls? Yeah. Scratches? Yup. Streaks, haze? Yup, can't live with that, got to take care of it. Orange peel? Well...

My advice is to just live with it. Mirror finishes are for Pebble Beach. Chasing one on your Civic just isn't worth it - average joe can't tell the difference anyways.

Got it, thanks guys. I'm not that worried about it but figured it never hurts to ask. Not looking for it to be a show car by any means but if there was some recourse to get it fixed as a defect or something, why not.

Almost all new cars have orange peel. Even expensive ones. It's just the reality of new VOC paint chemistry.

The paint on these car is complete shit. Just open the door and look at the inner door, there is no clear coat, just base coat...horrid.

I just hope the paint is not as bad as my 02 civic. The paint on that car has been peeling off for a while now.

2019 Si in Aegean Blue here, much orange peel all over but it's not too noticeable unless you're looking for it.
