For those of you who are buying from out of state, have you considered taking a one way flight and driving it home yourself? My mother did that with both her '55 Chevy and '75 Rabbit, but both times she was starting on the East Coast from other travels and coming back home to California. Sadly, you do run the risk of collision on this road trip, like we suffered outside of Indy with a Monte Carlo smacking the side of the car while on the freeway.
I did this. Flew to Cleveland, OH and drove back to Las Vegas.

Closed on my Type R yesterday and will be picking it up tomorrow! I'm getting the illuminated sills, console illumination and footwell illumination installed to give the interior just that little bit of luxury. Roush Honda in Westerville, OH is my dealer and they never sell Type R's above MSRP. I am so excited - after 13 years with my 2006 Si, I knew I could not drive anything else but another Honda :)

Congrats! Hey, by chance is the white 2018 SI at Roush Honda with 7600 miles your previous car? I'm going to look at it tomorrow. When I ask the salesman why someone would trade in such a beautiful car he said the gentleman wanted a "special Civic". There is only one "special Civic"...and you own one now.

I doubt it was him considering he said on the post he was coming from a 2006 Si.

Been off the site for a while during busy season at work, but anyway wanted to drop in to say there is a 2019 CW at Flow Honda of WS and they are asking MSRP plus possible $1000 of accessories chosen by the buyer. (I would almost bet that can be discussed since none are on until buyer selects. I would ask for 100-50% off of that $1000 and see where it goes.) PM for the salesperson I talked to cell number.
