Yeah it was just odd coming from my 06 Si to this new CTR - my Si still has the original clutch so it's probably a bit worn down and my muscle memory was having a hard time at first adjusting to the new clutch in the CTR. It just took a few days for me to get completely comfortable with it. Now it's easy peasy to shift smoothly although sometimes I have a bit of a hassle trying to get into reverse but I bet after another week or two maybe the shifting will be completely smooth like buttah! I also swapped out my OEM knob for the accessory JDM Honda shift knob:Yes lol. I haven't been driving manuals as long as you but I was super paranoid the first week because my previous manual was a 5 speed. You get the smell for about a week (maybe?) due to breaking it in but it goes away. That's what freaked me out lol I'm right there with you. it's my baby.
I did that two days after getting my CTR last week and I think the added heft and leverage (the knob is taller than the OEM) helps with getting smooth shifts.
