Yes lol. I haven't been driving manuals as long as you but I was super paranoid the first week because my previous manual was a 5 speed. You get the smell for about a week (maybe?) due to breaking it in but it goes away. That's what freaked me out lol I'm right there with you. it's my baby.
Yeah it was just odd coming from my 06 Si to this new CTR - my Si still has the original clutch so it's probably a bit worn down and my muscle memory was having a hard time at first adjusting to the new clutch in the CTR. It just took a few days for me to get completely comfortable with it. Now it's easy peasy to shift smoothly although sometimes I have a bit of a hassle trying to get into reverse but I bet after another week or two maybe the shifting will be completely smooth like buttah! I also swapped out my OEM knob for the accessory JDM Honda shift knob:

I did that two days after getting my CTR last week and I think the added heft and leverage (the knob is taller than the OEM) helps with getting smooth shifts.

Right. I was thinking the same thing - is that a really nice car wash bay or does the CW and picture just make it seem really nice?
It's just a really clean and well taken care of bay.

Picked up my new 2019 CW Type R this past Wednesday and I am having a blast. My other car is a 2006 TW Si that's been pretty much rock solid for almost 13 years - still has the original clutch with over 207,000 miles! I hopefully will get the same longevity and reliability from my new baby. I've been driving manual trans cars since 1991 but whenever I get a new car I am always paranoid that I'm shifting wrong or burning up the clutch even though I know I'm not. Maybe it's New Car Syndrome or something - anyone else ever afflicted with that?
A friend told me they saw another CW CTR in New Albany, I've been the only one for a while! Congrats on the purchase!

Talking about carwash bay.... Almost no one uses this parking garage, so I always go here and wash the car with the firehose and use my detailing tools :)
Spend usually 2 hours here for a nice long relaxing wash... All for free :)

This dealer way out in the boonies of Legrange, Georgia got the Type-R. Salesman told me they don't get many. They had it listed at $39,500 but when I asked the best price they can do for a guaranteed sale, they told me they'd do MSRP with no accessories. I put a deposit instantly and picked up 2 days later (today).

Had decent weather this past Saturday so I took my EM1 for a spin. Decided to park it back to back with the Type R. Four generations and 18 years apart, crazy how big cars have gotten.
