Trucks are the new ricers.

I own a 2018 Civic Si and a 2007 F250 Diesel. I cannot drive my truck without someone in a rear lowered truck trying to race me or asking me to roll coal when I am at a red light.

Not a diesel, but my co-workers F150 Ecoboost can do 0-60 in 5.8 seconds.

This was the first video I ever saw of rollin' coal.

On several occasions, I too have had to deal with trucks that had the ambition to pass an SI.
The last time, in March, it was a RAM 1500 5,7L HEMI. I was still on winter tires that slide on
the asphalt and in normal mode ( + 6 psi ). He surprised me on the first 100m ( it is 4 by 4 )
by staying almost side by side, but a little bit in rear ( I could see its grille in my right side
miror ). With the speed, the tires stuck, I put the sport mode ( + 9 psi ) and goodbye ...

its bad. these fucking rabid rednecks with their insecurity complexes get their ego hurt if you try to pass them. their like little napoleans in their giant lifted charriots. its so goofy.

I was right behind a jacked truck with FL plates (here in SoCal) that did this on a freeway interchange this morning -- *right in front of a CHP vehicle* parked on the shoulder. CHP ignored him and went back to looking for someone doing 71 MPH to pull over.

I've seen published times of 19 F150 ecoboost with the 10 speed auto of 5.1 to 60mph and 13.7 quarter mile. With a tuner, those trucks turn easy mid 4s to 60.

Some post on how fast some of these pickup trucks are . the problem is here pickups can’t handle on twisty roads thier not made to. pickup trucks are made for work picking up lumber, dirt and tow trailers. I’ve seen trucks hot rodded ,lowered even lowered they don’t handle well . If you want a truck to handle like a car buy a older el Camino ( which was a station wagon)
