Wait, backup...So does anybody KNOW if the clutch can be adjusted? Without being replaced. I drove a 2013 Si coupe the other day wuth Vtech but no turbo and the clutch was fantastic but lacked the oomph of my 2019 Si. I want that clutch feel...

Although my Civic Si Coupe from 2018 is noisier in the cabin that the Dart it replaced, it is far more reliable and that is why I bought it. (Yeah, the is less sound deadening stuff in the car but, far better gas mileage.)

The lack of LED headlights were indeed a sore point for me. But apparently this halogen projector works better than most with HID inserts, despite the reflectors being completely mismatched. I've considered doing Morimoto inserts or a retrofit. Morimoto's $150 price tag is tempting.

For a $24K car, I think the SQ is pretty good. Not as good as Toyota's, but better than most.

The clutch takes some getting used to. And does self-adjust with some miles.

I've learned to tolerate the rev hang. It's part emissions, and part the heavy flywheel.

You get pretty used to the rev hang and clutch, it's not that bad once you learn the right way this car likes to be shifted. And be glad you don't have the LED lights though, they are horrible for output and glare. They do look nice on the car! Congrats on the Si though, can't go wrong with silver either.
Ours Sis up here do come with the LED headlights and I gotta say, while driving it the other night in a completely darkened area, they do put out a lot of light down the road and spread out. A lot more than Iā€™d expect. And the high beams throw very far and wide as well. Iā€™m very impressed by them. Compared to other halogen cars I drive, these LEDs are so much more advanced and bright.
Also Honestly, if the Si came with halogens, I most likely would not have bought the car and looked elsewhere, theyā€™re just too nice and make the car more high end. This day and age, halogens just donā€™t cut it for the better cars

Agree on LED headlights being the best on the planet. I had them in my 2016 MX-5 Miata and I was actually SHOCKED at how wonderful they were at night. I will definitely figure out a way to go LED on the Si and perhaps through the dealer to get the actual units installed on the Civic Touring (which has them). Might be $1,000 or so but they're that important to me and would make this my "forever" car.

Being over 50 you young folks have NO IDEA what a bad stereo is! LOL ... for the majority of my childhood we had AM RADIO with those black push buttons ... If you wanted to listen to FM you had to wait until Sunday as all that was on FM radio in the early 70's was religion. As for high fidelity, you had the 8 track player - eh em ... trust me when I say and agree with the OP the stereo is actually very-very good for a car of this price range. Now ... being an old timer like the OP we simply do not have the REV HANG solution since we are PRECONDITIONED big time. It takes time. I have found that pushing the clutch all the way down to the floor buys time for me and my natural movement, moving the shift into neutral and stuttering into second for the 1-2 shift helps as this too causes a delay, MOST of all to retrain my mind with the rev hang issue I have found like the bird box blind fold it works to simply listen to the wine of the engine with my ears ONLY ... then the shift becomes WAY more natural. I am approaching 600 miles on my car. When I went for the test drive we used a left over 2018 so the plan was to drive it like I stole it. The prob was that I red lined in like 5 secs and was totally miffed and confused by the rev hang. For a 50 year old the REV HANG is VERY PRONOUNCED. If you are under 30 you may not quite understand. My first manual was a model year 1985. This was my first car. Congrats on the purchase OP ... every day my confidence grows. A few days ago I was really upset and down... today much better it's up and down. I am determined ! After all this is a "relationship" with the car. No automatic transmission for me.

Thanks my old-timer brother. LOL. Yup, rev hang isn't something I had on my 75 TR6 or any other car. I'm not sure I'm going to get used to it. I hope I will because I love the car. The 1963 Studebaker Lark I learned to drive on didn't rev hang either.

im a bit salty that canada gets LED headlights standard on all Si`s.
i really dont get honda's reasoning behind this. im salty as hell too. in 2019 LEDs *edit* should almost be standard especially on higher trim models

Yes, our Canadian Si is based off Touring Civic. So LED, wireless charge and Garmin navigation comes standard. Our Si's I think are less $$ too. But It's not just Canada coming with the LED though. The Latin Americans also get Si LED head light. Agreed it's a garbage decision to exclude the American Si of LED since it's Hondas largest and most important market

Picked up my new Si today. Very nice first impression on the drive home. Did note the rev hang, but doesn't seem to be a big deal. Quite, refined car. Can wait to break-in and push it...

No idea why Canadian Touring gets Homelink and rain sensor wipers but not the SI. Now I have a silly looking clip-on garage remote on my sunvisor.
