Last LED lights I used did not throw the light far at all. It looked nice up close but wasn’t practical for driving.

Recently installed some Morimoto 2stroke 2.0s, and am very happy with everything about them.

Scotty needs to retire.... he gives good advice on any cars made pre 2000 but he knows nothing about modern cars. He gives stupid blanket advice like "buy a toyota, it'll last forever"

Point in case, in this video he thinks that the LED driver is a "resistor"

All LED headlights are plug and play... these specific ones look like a ripoff and a gimmick. I mean, flashing yellow low beams? really??

I installed the latest Hikari LEDs and noticeably better than halogens. Happy with them.

Don't get me wrong, I sub and watch his videos because I find his trolling amusing but if you expect to learn more than your basic generalizations or old school thought train of thinking then you're in the wrong place. God forbid a car with fancy electronics comes along with their fancy engineering mumbo jumbo, how the heck am I supposed to fix that!

Let's take an entire car brand and make a blanket statement about the entire lineup based on one cherry picked defect of one model:

This is a perfect parody highlighting the bias/fanboy-ism/lack of knowledge that Scotty has:

Don't really trust that guy. Any cars made after 1990 are money pits according to him.

He's installing those LED bulbs into a Halogen REFLECTOR housing....what in...

There's viewers pointing this out...

"Scotty, what happens when you put a set of those fancy LED lights into a reflector housing made for halogen bulbs? You know what you get? Sever light scatter effect that blinds oncoming traffic. I love the technology but unfortunately it’s going to have a negative affect on a lot of eyeballs!"

and you get idiots who are responding with something like...
"look at it this way. At least slowpokes in the left lane will be more inclined to go faster or move right when you flash them with LED high beams"

I feel a tinge of sarcasm and a hint of baiting and I like it

Can we please ban Scotty videos from being posted to this website. Not one single video people have shared actually gives any good advice AT ALL. Dude is a hack these days. Automotive advances have passed that man by. I feel sorry for people who follow that trash for anything other than pure entertainment

Isn't that what is meant by a plug-and-play LED? ie. - to put them into a halogen housing, ie. the subject of this post?

Just asking.
