New knob. Added threads to the shifter in order to get I as low as possible.

either my eyes are playing tricks on me or that panel around the number plate is aftermarket (no longer piano black)? if i'm right, do you know where to purchase that cover/replacement?

Correct, I'm not a fan of the gloss. While I had everything apart for the boot replacement, I removed the number plate and painted the panel flat black.

I won a work award today.

What does that have to do with the CTR, you ask?

Well it was a special enough reward that they reached out to my wife to see what she thought I might like as a gift. So they bought me a giant cooler and two track day passes to Gingerman Raceway. On the somewhat negative side, my new flex fuel kit was supposed to show up but since I was out getting the award and they sent it signature only, I couldn't get it and am out of town until Friday afternoon now. So that'll have to wait, but that's ok, wasn't going to use it much the next day anyway.

Installed my PRL stage 1 intake. Should hold me over until their high volume intake is released. Lol.
Bro, it's like... right around the corner lol

Finally was able to cut threads to the very bottom of the shift rod. Allowed me to use the factory boot collar and snap ring. My knob is a custom countersunk Ti knob (1 of 1) and sits much lower. So it all looks factory now.

I will add this though, in a few spots I was very surprised at how tight some of the threads were, almost like they had incorrect tolerances.

All was well after I chased it. Non prior to chasing were at all cross threaded like some have reported.

Sorry for the dusty pic. Spring time here and had to use lot of tissues for my allergies.

They stick on top of the existing ones. Mine came with 3M strips to do the job.
Did you remove the mirror in order to stick the spoon mirror on or just stuck it on top of the original mirror while still on the housing? how is it holding up, I've heard of a few s2k owners saying that they had to remove the oem mirror and install the spoon mirror because it would fall off the oem glass
