I spoke with Matt from ZL1Addons.com and they are about to open their new shop not far from me. He'll be contacting me in the next week or so when their lift is ready and I'll bring my CTR in for measurements.

On a side note, I had a couple of their pieces on my Camaro and it was good stuff, they were also super responsive to questions I had. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with for the Civic.

If some things can be requested:
1. I hope ours aren't flared too much outward; more minimalistic, the better.
2. Priced closer to their Accord product than the RS, Camaro, Mustang, etc. ($40 vs. $80 for both front rear combo)

Matt mentioned that he was interested in doing a couple of designs for the CTR. I'll talk to him about minimalistic and more protective versions.

That's baller. Keep us posted. Perhaps he can join as member here for feedback and such (if he's interested. Not trying to be pushy)

Yes! We need alternatives to RallyArmor, options are always a good thing especially if it’s more minimal.

I wonder if I should continue my DIY approach. It's a sub $25 method with your own labor and parts

Thank you for the encouragement. I needed that as I'm the one that started the rally for zl1addons, having lost hope on it, and then resort to DIY, and now an update happens lol

Matt mentioned that they were working remotely with someone in TX but they would appreciate a local car to take their own measurements. Is that you? It might be useful for you to create a template that you think is perfect for your needs and send Matt the measurements. That might expedite the process of them developing at least one of the variations?

And thank you for starting the rally for this - I'd never have found them otherwise.

eh? no... it's not me that he's in contact with. If he's the same 'Matt' I found from YouTube (goes by "LethalGarage" and said he works for ZL1Addons), I did Facebooked (and I think emailed him?) with no response. I surely could send him my template. Can you ask him to hit me up? [email protected]

Thanks, Kase

Keiothic, keep it up. If you make something good, you could always start selling them yourself. That would be a good way to fund more mods for your car!

This is good news I like the way their product looks but thought this kinda fell off and was not going to take place. I will buy if they release a more OEM looking flap!!!

I'd love to see an inexpensive, very subtle flap for the fronts - I'd get one of these if they're like the opening pics
