Wait less drone or boomy sound than oem? My biggest complaint with this car was that while I am cruising at highway speeds the car sounds too loud especially around 75-80 mph. How does the Sequence sound at those speed? Now your making me want to pull on the Seq even more.
yup. I only have experience with it with the stock downpipe and front pipe but when you are cruising and the valves are closed, it is less drone than stock from the inside. Sounds similiar to stock or even quieter also from the outside.
keep in mind, the car in general has the drone in the 2500-3000 range but it is less with the sequence due to the gigantic muffler.
If I have to say anything about BoostLogic, which just like @zsak, I was considering since it's the cheapest titanium exhaust for the CTR, they mentioned on their product page that the valve opens up at 7PSI. Given my daily drive with the car, I never noticed going anywhere near there. Perhaps I'm driving too conservatively? Or their exhaust is closer to sounding the best near WOT range...
the sequence also opens up around that psi but it's really more about the load on the car. I notice the valve does open up earlier than 7psi when i'm in like 6th gear.

When I am driving normal, i can drive it without the valves ever opening up. If your accelerating slightly faster than a normal person, you might hear it open for a little bit.

You can also add a boost controller on that line and have it open up at a higher boost rate if you feel like the valves are opening up too early.

This is why I wish I can manage exhaust noise based on the CTR's 3 modes lol. I feel like most of my driving time is based on that, rather than how much I "push" the car.

i do agree. It was a disappointment that they didn't incorporate valves from the factory. You would have to go for army trix or remus if that is what you want. and even then, it wouldn't be based on driving modes but you manually opening or closing it.

I was actually happy with how the stock exhaust was under normal driving. I just hated how quiet it sounded when under throttle which this exhaust fixed.

You got me sold on this! I may just order it next month for myself. What did the cost come to shipped? Any vendors giving discounts lol.

lol. If the exhaust your looking for is something I wanted in an exhaust, you probably won't be disappointed. I know I'm not. I had the greddy triple tip before and the car was beginning to not be enjoyable to drive at all because of the constant drone when accelerating and cruising on the freeway. It was really an unbelievable difference. Even at cold start up, the car sounds stock.
I can't comment on people with 3" front pipe and catless downpipes but on stock cat and front pipe, it is great. If other parts of your exhaust isn't stock, you can try talking to some members here. I know most of them are running catless.

I am debating on possibly adding a grimspeed mbc onto it so i can have it open at even higher loads but idk yet.

It was $100 shipping to get it down to california, so a total of like 2900? something like that. Not sure if that is a standard rate or not but the box is huge so shipping isn't cheap. I'm not sure if any vendors carry it but i ordered it directly from the site.
Regarding discounts, I actually had opened a new credit card line recently which had 1.5% cash back and $300 cash reward if i spend more than $3000 so this was the perfect opportunity. Bought the exhaust, used the card on some bills/eating out and got my $300 discount lol.

Hey guys i haven’t had time to back back in to this thread for a while

I just wanted to thank everybody for the support. We have sold a bunch of exhausts and to all sorts of different parts of the world. I couldn’t be happier.

We have a handful of items coming out relatively soon however they are more fabrication oriented and not vehicle specific.

I think since i last posted we have sold our Dynapack dyno and upgraded to a mainline prohub dyno. Have a car lined up to do some more video stuff on the dyno here hopefully in the next week or 2. The weather has been miserable this winter and it’s finally starting to warm up again so the goal is to film some more videos both on the dyno and on the road.
