yup. I only have experience with it with the stock downpipe and front pipe but when you are cruising and the valves are closed, it is less drone than stock from the inside. Sounds similiar to stock or even quieter also from the outside.Wait less drone or boomy sound than oem? My biggest complaint with this car was that while I am cruising at highway speeds the car sounds too loud especially around 75-80 mph. How does the Sequence sound at those speed? Now your making me want to pull on the Seq even more.
keep in mind, the car in general has the drone in the 2500-3000 range but it is less with the sequence due to the gigantic muffler.
the sequence also opens up around that psi but it's really more about the load on the car. I notice the valve does open up earlier than 7psi when i'm in like 6th gear.If I have to say anything about BoostLogic, which just like @zsak, I was considering since it's the cheapest titanium exhaust for the CTR, they mentioned on their product page that the valve opens up at 7PSI. Given my daily drive with the car, I never noticed going anywhere near there. Perhaps I'm driving too conservatively? Or their exhaust is closer to sounding the best near WOT range...
When I am driving normal, i can drive it without the valves ever opening up. If your accelerating slightly faster than a normal person, you might hear it open for a little bit.
You can also add a boost controller on that line and have it open up at a higher boost rate if you feel like the valves are opening up too early.
