what kind of price range will that run me?
Around the $1,500 ballpark, I'd say. Little less if you're patient and buy a few used items here and there off the classified section.

In my completely biased opinion, shifter upgrades make a world of difference. Think the shifter is good now? Wait until you drop an Acuity Full Shifter assembly along with Linkage Bushings in. WORLD of difference. Next thing I'd go for is a nice weighted shift knob (I personally prefer Raceseng). The shifter is the thing you use constantly, so I'd prioritize that. Next, go pick up a sticky set of summer tires. Then grab a KTuner from TSP with their Stage 1 tune.
definitely agree with shifter upgrades. after i installed my rocker arm, spring, and base bushings, it was a totally new animal.

tires are also a very important 1st mod. they essentially dictate how the car handles on those curvy roads.

Settle into and enjoy this very capable car for a few months, figure it’s strengths and weaknesses then take it from there....
I'd agree. I have been quite impressed with how good this car is in stock form, especially for the price. I've had it less than 3 weeks and I've already put just under 800 miles on it. It's a blast to drive!

Don't put a drop in unless you take a look at the anti posts to the K/N (Poor filtration) I have leaned in both directions ... for and against ... currently I am against. Did you know your stock paper air filter is actually an "oil based" piece? It's way more than cheap paper and does the job ... The problem with modding is that for everyone who says ... yeah ... get a K tune ...you have someone else who says ... don't since it ruins your clutch.

I've owned my 10th gen Si for about 7 months and am just starting to want to put mods on mine.
No matter how much research you've done, try and do a little more before you buy any mods. I think the KTuner is probably the first thing you want to do since this will be the base for any other mods you want to put on the car.
Sure, a drop-in air filter will give you a little more punch, but you're not going to realize much difference from stock without tuning the car. Just my two cents on the research I've done over the months of owning the car.
