@.grimace where is the vented mesh grill from? Does it actually have more cut vents than stock?
It has a slightly more thinner upper lip than stock, also no framing for the Type R badge. I'd say about 20-30% more air clearance maybe...

whoops. Sorry for the confusion, I see that you ordered he actual grill as well. I meant the side vent, where the fog light goes.

@.grimace I wonder if the cutout on the left side grill would work for your oil cooler placement. Doesn't match the cutout of the right side, but perhaps a better performer.

That is what I bought the driver side grill for is oil cooler flow. It's made specifically for that since the OEM driver side vent had no openings. Only the OEM passenger vent does for a horn but the oil cooler doesn't go there.

Unless I misunderstood your guys question.

Could you please provide a link to the grill? I’m looking at the J’s Racing option, just hesitant to spend $700+ on a grill. Yeesh.

edited my earlier post with a pic, grim
Oh yup, I saw theirs but it was $200 vs $130 so I went with the GPP one. If I’m feeling crazy I might open it up a bit more even

Also anyone else Brembo Calipers peeling? Wondering if warranty will cover this.
there's actually a lot of oem cars that has brembo clear coat peeling issues and people have gotten them warrantied before.
Probably depends on the dealer you go to but, doesn't hurt to try it.

You made the removable tray non-removable.
Type R tray still comes out, and fold over cover fully functional. Pics uploaded in weird order.

If you’re talking about the styrofoam tray underneath, I put quick connections on bottom, and could have it out in a couple minutes. Everything is secured, total weight on top of it is about 5 pounds. I have no idea why I would ever want or need to remove that, though.
