Is that warning constantly on or does it only happen intermittently? It's a bit unclear. I live in Sask. and when it's batshit cold and I'm driving highway speeds and there's light snow, that warning will sometimes show up. Goes away after a while.

Is there snow buildup behind that plastic cover? Could be obstructed from behind the vent piece

There is snow at the intercooler. But cant really see beyond it.
you can pop that vent off without removing the bumper to look.

Edit: Actually you can remove just the radar cover if you want and look

Is there any posts or guide on how to remove it?

Mine does it too when it snows. Sometimes it’ll get the camera on the windshield too with all the ice build up. I normally don’t worry about it. Defrost normally helps the windshield after a while. As for the radar maybe park it in a garage and let all the ice/snow melt. Then take it for a spin and see if it still does it.

This would drive me nuts if i have this kind of error on my dash. I guess its one of the pros of not having any of these driving aid that needs sensors. Hopefully OP has nothing too serious issue and get resolve quickly.

Only had that once when it was snowing pretty hard, apparently the snow gathered over the radar sensor once the snow melted or fell off it was fine.

Well, I just got my Canadian LX Hatchback last Wednesday, and from the day I got it, I get the Radar Obstructed message after driving 1 to 4 kms or 1 to 2 miles (tried it both in US and Canada) No weird weather, no snow, no dirt on the radar.

So, when I asked the dealer, they said all the same as you mentioned above, however, none of them was applicable. One service manager thought maybe the sensors had to be "re-calibrated"

Then I made my umpteen year old Mechanical Engineering training proud (haven't worked as a Mech Eng since 1994!, IT was much more lucrative as an employment choice) when I decided to dig into it myself. I had added the Fog Lights to the LX since they don't come standard and I had gotten used to them from the last 3 cars. However, I knew, from checking the prices for them on collegehillshonda, that there are two part numbers for the foglight kit, one for with and one for without Honda Sensing, the only difference being the -A and -B at the end of the part number. Givent the consistency of the radar obstruction message and it going away for a few klicks after every restart of the car, I had the hypothesis that they had put in the wrong part.

I told that to the sales manager and the service manager, and what do you know? That is exactly the problem, in fact, they told me their system has always showed them two part numbers but they had no idea what the difference was (which I kinda doubt, but I don't have access to the internal part ordering system at Honda) and hence had always ordered the -A version.

Which would have worked fine until 2019 for all their LX's and their non-sensing trims, but with Sensing standard for all 2019s, maybe that part should no longer show-up as a valid option when ordered for a 2019+ Honda Civic Hatchback.

Just thought I would share with the forum in case someone else has the same issue, since this was the first place I came to look when I had the original problem :)

They are ordering the new part so, soon, I should be able to get the ACC (and, btw, the regular cruise control, which gets disabled as well for some reason) working. It's ironic that I waited until 2019 to get Honda Sensing standard, and that was the piece causing the issue!

Btw, does anybody know if that plastic "do not paint" cover serves any other purpose than to protect the radar? Can the radar still work if that plastic was removed? I'm just trying to figure out why that piece would be so expensive for the hatch... but dirt cheap for the sedan.
