yeah, when I looked at mine, I could see plain as day where the source of it was...coming right from that driver side axle where it meets the transmission.

I'm not sure if I was my first brutal spring install I did that caused it, or a huge bump I hit.
I feel the car is low enough. My front splitter already scrapes my driveway when I pull in head first. I have a set of Titan7s that I bought back in August that are still sitting in my house. No time to mount tires on them.

Really wish Honda had put a trans dipstick or senor on this car. My scan tool doesn't even list a trans module...maybe it's because it's a manual.

Dealer said couldn't replicate. They idled a quarter tank of gas and couldn't see the leak. They had it for 2 days. They put in dye and I'll probably check it in 2 or 3 months. I got other things going on in my life to lose sleep over this right now. The tech did say that Honda uses a flashing material and looking back at the pictures, there aren't any fluid leaking from those "crack" lines. I did come across a post on the FB owners page about leak coming from the oil pan gakset. Same oily location as mine so it could also be that. The attached photo was taken after I did my oil change and comparing it to the original photo before the change, there wasn't this much fluid so it could be engine oil.

Who knows, I'll worry about this later and report back.

Same thing as above. 1500 miles or so ago when I was installing my midpipe I saw a little bit of leaking coming out of the bell housing and cleaned it up. Yesterday (1500 miles later) I was under there looking over the car and this is what I see.

I have a total of 5,500 miles on my Type R approximately. The dealer is saying they have no record of any casings or transmission repairs from Honda. Basically calling this thread BS and bias.

For those of you that have had your transmission case or transmission replaced for this same issue (In a 2017+ type R) can you please let me know what dealerships you went to for the service? I am going to get my paperwork in order so after Honda cleans this leak up and it shows up again they can't say that everyone on here is lying.

I hate dealerships and I hate cover ups.

Thanks to anyone that has any info that can help me.
