Things we choose/like are more or less reflecting ourselves. This is particular true for cars. So let's bring out the Si in us. Which parts of you are Si?

I am a very practical but fun person. I won't spend $9 at Starbucks to get just a drink. Doesn't matter in Spanish or French or German, talle, grande...or whatever language they are, the size still won't justify the price for me. But I would use that money to buy snack and Slurpee and watch a movie on youtube with my son. Driving to park/beach and sure use the "hacked" browser. A mini drive in theater experience! :lock:

I am common but uncommon. Here the civic (including all models, but mostly made up of the 4 door LX) have been the best selling passenger car for 20+ years, in a row! it's everywhere, just more common than common :rolleyes1:. But the Si are very rare given the numbers of Civic on the road. I am also an average Joe in terms of having a job, busy daily tasks, love weekends...etc. But I have a very unique way/philosophy of seeing different things in life, which I am proud of:p. But who wouldn't?

Si is not only a car; it can be lifestyle and character.

So in this two areas, I am very Si !

Are you Si ? And which parts?

I've really grown to like my Si, it's a comfortable, practical sedan that can throw down and jam with the big boys with the press of a button - in my case, activating Hondata +9 in Sport mode. It's a Civic, but when you see it it's different to the sea of 10th Gens on the road, thanks to the Si's aggressive yet understated looks in comparison to the CTR, and the subtle exterior changes I've made to mine.

A Si parked next to a Lamborghini next to a R8; no surprise here. Very Toronto
:D:D:D

On Steelies too for good measure! They're coming off in a week however to make way for a new set of wheels + summer rubber.

I'm pretty sure you were on the 403 with me this weekend lol
HA! That was me indeed :)

I was really liking the HFP package on yours, and I see you're also not a fan of the HDMI :p

I’d say yes. I like to stand out, but not make a scene, and I like to think I have a lot more going on than meets the eye. :D

Interesting some of us are the same on the point like common but uncommon as we are. Our Si actually looks quite unique (in a good way). And from the picture above it doesn't look bad at all parking beside those cars. But at the same time, carrying the name of civic "helps" to create a lower profile which fits the characters of some of us. Actually I've had people told me that they didn't know the civic looks this good both inside and outside. I didn't bother to explain but just took as a compliment.

I once read something like this " A Si is you want a civic but you don't want a civic !" :spaz:

One more point, I am a easy to maintain person too, just like the Si. I never need extra attention/caring to perform relatively ok, as a kid and also now.

It’s a reasonably fun car. I didn’t want to pay for any of the cars I actually wanted, so I compromised. I’m angry and obnoxious. This car is neither, so I’m no an Si.

When I arrived in Montreal in 1968, I bought a Mustang GT 390 cu. in. or 6.4L, 4 speed manual. My last car, in France, was a Renault R8 Gordini, 1.3L.
Quite a difference! I changed to a Mach one 429 cu.in. Cobra Jet Ram Air in 1971. But there was the oil crisis...After that, I had several cars that were
less fuel consuming...and ,in 1990, my first SI was 1.6L, 108hp engine (the Civic had a 1.5L 90hp engine).
Then, the Acura Integra arrived, I had 3: 1992, 95, 98...Finally, an RSX Type S until the real SI is released in 2006, with the same engine.
I have had several, but it's the modified 2017 that I prefer.
I would even say that it is the best, most pleasant and beautiful car I have ever had in my life.
Yes, I am SI, I am very SI.

If he was here in the Bay Area, he would be parked next to a Prius, that would be parked next to a Tesla, that would be parked next to a leaf, that would be parked next to a Camry, that would be parked next to another Civic

Lol I'm just kidding...I couldn't resist!

I'd have to say I am 'Si' since I don't really sicst out in a crowd unless you really know me, but those that do, know me as a mushroom
