I live in Fountain Square, I think I've seen you around town before. I've seen the black one around, he's posted in this thread before. There's also a blue Type R that will park here on Grove from time to time.

Aw man, I am thinking of getting a place there, I love how they have the all in one pay type of amenities, just gotta find a person I'd want to go in with that

Ok, I gotta ask, and this question is especially for the type r people with spoilers; where do you go to wash your cars? I've been hearing that its good to go to touch-less car washes, but the ones around Elgin have bad reviews, saying they dont do a real good job cleaning
I'm about to install a pro civic spoiler so I guess I'm just nervous about the normal wash brushes and wipers breaking the thing :/

I think your best option is to go to a spray it down yourself place and bring buckets (they rarely care especially if you go past 6pm). Most touchless places use aggressive chemicals and they'll never do as good a clean as a mitt. A place I went to warned me about my dad's pickup since he has a truck cap (typical brush place) but they just kept their eye on it. He said it gets stuck but they know which cars to look out for. They don't wanna damage their equipment either.

If you do go to a do it yourself place make sure to bring your own brush or thoroughly clean the one there. I made the mistake of using the brush their and it ended up being loaded with debris, which scratched my paint pretty bad. :banghead:

I wouldnt use their brushes, I learned my lesson on the S2000 , it would scratch the paint like crazy. The R only gets hand washed with my own sponge and my own soap , takes me about 2-3 hours to everything nice (wash , dry, windows, wheels, spray wax , wax etc etc) but after that I can literally stare at it for hours and have a boner at the same time lol
