Finally got around to installing my Raceseng Slammer. Pro tip: Don’t be an idiot and drop the boot retainer. You’ll have to take apart the entire console to retrieve it. Also, I added a couple comparison pics of the stock knob to Slammer

Haha I did that and I was able to fish it out with a magnetic tool retriever thing. Took forever but I didn't have to tear apart the whole console.

I've been putting that same shift knob in my basket and not ordering it. I think it might be time to pull the trigger. I think I'll go without the engraving though.

Edit: Just ordered a red translucent Prolix. Stoked af

Looks like there's a few of us running the Daytona. I'm reusing the raceseng shift boot adapter with some rubber bands as spacers and it holds pretty good. Added bonus, I can switch between shift knobs whenever I like!

Bro how did you get it on ? The shift boot keeps falling off and I can’t put the locking but on because it’s to short
The boot is not attached in these pictures nor will it attach with the likewise shifter.

Any tips on getting the boot to "work" with a raceseng knob? I got mine and I was disappointed I could not use the OEM retainer.

Sorry, nope. After reading a few other users experiences I just ordered the Raceseng boot retainer. I bet with some time and energy you can make the OEM work. I just don’t have the patience to modify it.

The raceseng retainer fixes the issue on our Civics? Do you have it?
