Totally understand is not for everyone. It grips really good specially on wet surfaces. Transmission whines loud and my exhaust due to the vibrations drones in the cabin. But its too much fun to take it out.Well after 600 miles, the 27W mount does feel better. But, I just removed it and went back to stock since this is daily. The NVH just was a little much with how often I drive.
I highly recommend their mount, but if you want to have a rough ride and dont mind the extra noise. It is great for track use, it does make a big difference to minimize wheel hop. Instead, the tires do a quick chirp on hard pulls.
I'm getting old and enjoy my fun, but I would like to have a comfy ride for the daily use. To each their own. I will keep it and swap the mounts when I do some track use, but stock will do until then. It only takes an hour at most to swap anyways.
That is why I asked if anyone has tried to window weld a stock mount. I may purchase a spare and do it.I wish someone would make an OEM+ version.
I'm wondering why there isnt a whiteline insert or something like a replacement bushing for the big end of the oem mount. just making that a solid rubber bushing would keep it from shaking the car apart but still strengthen the part. I would think a poly insert would be ideal. That is why I asked if anyone has tried to window weld a stock mount. I may purchase a spare and do it.
because it's not even worth their time to mold something like that. I wouldn't. You could literally go to the hardware store and buy some window molding for 10-20$ and DIY. If you cry and say it's too harsh, then remove it. The gaps are small AF. I don't even know what the big deal is, but i guess everyone's different and got their own opinion of NVH. Just go buy the HASPORT and be done w/ it.I'm wondering why there isnt a whiteline insert or something like a replacement bushing for the big end of the oem mount. just making that a solid rubber bushing would keep it from shaking the car apart but still strengthen the part.
