Just want to know what fellow Si owners are set up with for their track/autocross events. I have read most are using wider 17 inch wheels with either 245 or 255 tires. Been seeing used RPF1 wheels on CL where I am at local just want to get the correct size and offset. I also been looking at Evo wheels seeing those are decent for autox.
Appreciate the help and advice.

For GS you can't go wider on wheel, so I'm running 17x8 Konig Hypergrams. Ugly but the cheap:light ratio is great.
255/40-17 RE71R, though the 245s are virtually indistinguishable even side by side.
For GS you can change offset +/-7mm, so ET43 to ET57 is ok.

I would not be in GS because I have a RMM. I autocross a lot with Porsche Club events. Over here the group is ERSCC Equipe Rapid for actual autocross competition. I like with Porsche club you get 8 runs.

I run 18×9 +35, 255/35/18 tire. The rpf01 is still light in 18's. Just ran a 1:30 on streets of willow with only swift springs and rims/tires. I don't autoX though. Track days are way more fun

I'm on federal RSRR for now. Best bang for the buck imo.

Yeah they're not bad at all! They just don't tend to do well continuously across multiple track days. Very cheap however! My car did a 1:32 back in March with OnGrid (CW), bone stock with the factory summer tires. These things are quick!

Interesting...I do autox, but with the Porsche club. I don't autox much with Equipe Rapid which are the ones running the true events here in my region. I only go for the fun and thrashing. I am not trying to compete at all.

How are the Swift Springs? The H&R Sport Springs I have on had more roll than I anticipated.

My setup is 1x8.5 ET35 Konig Freeform, 245/35ZR18 Continental ExtremeContact Sport.

I think swift has a stiffer spring rate over the other. Didn't even have to cut the bump stops. Car is pretty level even on hard turning.

Once I pick up skill level, I'll definitely have to reconsider my Spring options. The H&R's did require trimming the bump stops, the ride about 1.2" lower than stock springs up front.

How are the Swift springs for daily driving, because I love how the H&R's ride very smooth.

Just picked up the new car last night and a set of wheels today. I found a used set of 17x8 Kosei K4R's that only weigh 15.5 pounds each for a killer deal. The RE71R's will go on next week and the first autocross is next weekend.

I have 17x8 RPF1s with 245/45/17 RE-71r's because I want to stay in GS.

I"ve been thinking of switching from 255/40/17 to the 245/45/17 for the taller tire. I'm not sure I want to give up the width, but more speed in 2nd would be nice. Do you know the top speed you are getting in 2nd with those tires?
