Unfortunately, Amsoil Synchromesh has nothing to do with the clutch...it affects shifting and transmission performanceChiming in because, thanks in part to this thread, I bought some Amsoil for my 2G TSX, thinking maybe a fluid change was all my balky shifter needed. Turns out the clutch was bad -- no biggie at 118,000 miles -- but I had my shop use the Amsoil, and man, it shifts better than ever. It's amazing.
(My clutch is still pretty heavy though. I was hoping effort would decrease a little more with the change. Oh well.)
