27 won CAI should clearly be purchased by anyone that has a 10th gen civic in the Houston area, they are unable to hydrolock. sorry for your issues, hopefully you are able to resolve this issue soon.
I installed my 27 Won CAI this weekend. And while I am not too worried about water in Arizona, I cannot imagine a scenario where it will suck water outside of seeing if the car floats. It is a neat design and I voted for it with my money. It is like a SRI with a cool air snorkel + snorkel bypass for deep water.

Thanks for everyone’s replies. I’ve called the insurance and I’ll see where they go from there. I’ll keep y’all updated.

I've had this happen on my old TL. Luckily, it wasn't too hard to fix.. Just a lot of work. First off I took out the spark plugs and cranked it over, and to no surprise water was shooting out. I did that until all the water was out, and drained the oil as well. Eventually I found out my starter had shorted and I replaced that too. Put new plugs in it, let the car sit for a few days and dry out and buttoned things up and she started right up. Could have been more fatal, but sometimes they're savable.

Not sure what happens with your insurance in the sates but here in the uk any mods that are not declared to your insurers but discovered by them during the course of a claim will lead to your claim will be rejected.
