Edmonton and area

May 4 I’m tracking at Castrol road course spectators are welcome and free. Will be lots of nice cars there to check out. That evening I am hoping to do a cars and coffee. Maybe we can get a good group of civic together at united cycle.

Nice! If I’m in town that weekend I’ll definitely come check it out. I’m really eager to see how many civics we could get together or a group in general. I’m trying to track this thread to get constant updates on it

Who in edm has mods come on guys I know your out there. Pm me if your interested in a yeg civics meet.

I have mods and will be in Edmonton as of July. My build starts in May and will be done when I move. Have an exhaust waiting for me in Edmonton to complete my build.

Got a few responses about Saturday night but very underwhelming numbers.... on me guys and gals.

I’m not using other site. will be lots of cars there, always is Friday Saturday nights trying to use this site outside of the 10 xgen owners I knew.

Isn’t it 780 tuners or something that use rims/united cycle on Friday nights? You said you were doing something at Castrol during the day on Saturday, was that the group you are referring to going out after? And is there a set location or time?

780 tuners session opener event is on May 19 6pm at Yellowhead 149st. This is sure to be a exciting event. Tracking session is separate from the uc parking lot meet trying to get people coming out to the track at Castrol road course course. Tonight is the first euro cars and coffee in Edmonton. At Canadian tire Windermere 7pm if you wanted to check it out. Potentially some nice cars, but not for sure since it snowed tonight.

Yea definitely won’t make it out tonight, just saw the message and the cars filthy from the weather. I was hoping if I get it out this weekend I can get some wax/clay bar work done to up the appearance for showing off. I looked into the course event you mentioned and it sounds quite intriguing but a little pricy if you don’t plan to push your car hard. Where do you get all this info from? I’d like to get more involved in cars/coffee meets as I haven’t had much forum connection since my Subaru

Coming out to the track just to watch is where I got started years ago. As for cars and coffee stuff I get texts and hear about them I don’t use face book just started using Instagram. Uc almost every Friday Saturday night has dozens of cars

Day was a success. Few issues with the fx350 and figuring out the engagement point as the clutch heated up. Learning curve there with finding the sweet spot. The extra power with the 27 won bolt on’s and flex kit proved to be a challenge as the car is so powerful now that the stock suspension just can’t keep up I’ll be heading to first gear Monday to discuss suspicious upgrades next. Big thanks to Li at First Gear for his help today with the clutch.

I’ll be heading to united cycle for 8:00pm see you out there.
